Hospital is looking to build a pool of NP/PAs for sporadic PRN vacation, PTO, sick coverage. 2 shifts per week 11a-11p shift5-7 ED patients admitted to the hospital per day45 patients per 24 hours average70% Ed transfer patients per month10 bedsNo fast track in EDED staff responds to house codes, house codes are secondary to ED emergenciesAll agesEMR: EpicLevel IV traumaDeliveries are transferred to OB triageED is not responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radioEMS calls ED to offer report on incoming patients; ambulance unit across road from hospital transfers patients upon requestTransfers go to Sparrow Lansing, 19 miles awayAir Ambulance Response Time: LifeNet with rapid response for air transport (infrequently needed)APP will not be working autonomously, supervising physician will be present during assignment24 hour availability for radiology, lab, OR, anesthesia, general surgeryBlood bank certified by AABBCredentialing timeframe 90-120 days Submission Requirements Active MI license - Required ATLS, ACLS, PALS - Required 3+ years of experience - Required Provider must be local - mileage only - Required COVID Vaccine - Required, note at time of name clear
