An established hospital system in Massachusetts is seeking additional licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join their team at their new Accelerated Care Unit within the EDAbout the OpportunitySchedule: 8 hour shifts (8 AM - 4 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM) opportunity for part time Setting: ACU within the emergency departmentResponsibilities: Manage lower acuity emergency patients (ESI 3 5) in an efficient, high throughput environment. The ACU manages both adult and pediatric patients. The ACU Provider delivers comprehensive, evidence based care, emphasizing rapid assessment, point of care treatment, patient education, and safe disposition. The ACU providers practice independently, with emergency physicians available in the ED that is adjacent to the ACU.
