Hospice/Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Facility: A 150-bed, not-for-profit acute care facility providing comprehensive healthcare services. Opportunity: Seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to palliative care, hospice, and geriatrics. Deliver care in a 75% inpatient / 25% outpatient setting Provide palliative care services primarily at hospital Work Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, managing approximately 6 patients per day Practice autonomously to manage symptoms and chronic diseases Lead goals of care discussions and provide advanced care planning Round on inpatient hospice patients as part of daily duties Collaborate with hospitalists, who manage patient admissions Function within an open ICU environment Participate in a rotating on-call schedule Role requires experience as an advanced provider in acute care, palliative care, or hospice Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for palliative care, hospice, and geriatrics Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview) 200 hours of vacation/CME time 6 paid holidays Sick leave accrual up to 600 hours Medical, vision, and dental insurance Life and long-term disability insurance Malpractice insurance 403(b) tax-deferred annuity 457(b) deferred compensation retirement plan
