Job Description

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology curriculum provides the basic knowledge to develop skills necessary to work with residential and light commercial systems. Topics include: heating and cooling theory electricity, controls safety air conditioning furnaces heat pumps tools and instruments In addition, graduates should be able to assist in the start-up, preventive maintenance, service, repair, and/or installation of residential and light commercial systems. Qualified candidates will possess: excellent computer skills demonstrate evidence of a career that includes flexible work experiences and willingness to change open-mindedness, fairness, and the ability to see multiple perspectives willingness to take and manage risks willingness to accept responsibility for professional and personal growth. Note: This position may be required to teach evening/night classes. Extensive experience, well documented in the application packet, or NC Heating/Air Conditioning License may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. Preferred: Three-five years experience in the field. Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college.
