Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Job Description: Pioneer Health Critical Care is seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our dynamic Critical Care Unit team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge healthcare organization and make a meaningful impact on patient care.Position Overview: As an APRN or PA in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a 7 on 7 off schedule for full-time candidates. Part-time positions are also available. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of critical care cases and utilizing your expertise to perform various procedures.Responsibilities:Provide expert-level patient care and support in the Critical Care Unit.Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, hospital staff and leadership to ensure seamless coverage and comprehensive patient management.Perform advanced procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, extubation, lines and more.Demonstrate proficiency in managing critical care cases, drawing upon your previous experience in ICU settings.Qualifications:Valid Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) license in the state of Florida.Minimum of 1+ year of experience as an APRN or PA in a hospital setting.Previous ICU experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider is strongly preferred.Exceptional clinical skills and ability to perform advanced medical procedures.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care. Training and Compensation: The position offers a competitive base salary with the opportunity for a productivity bonus based on encounter volume.
