Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP preferred) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a long-term locum assignment covering August 4, 2025 through September 6, 2025, with the possibility of extension. Coverage Details: Schedule: Monday FridayHours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (7.5-hour day)Lunch: 12:30 PM 1:00 PM (site closed during lunch)Holiday Closure: Monday, September 1, 2025 (Labor Day)Support Staff: Full-time Medical Assistant on site Clinical Responsibilities Include: Performing minor in-office procedures and POCT, including:COVID-19 (Rapid/PCR), Strep, Influenza, Mono testingUrinalysis/HCG testing and analysisSplinter removal, wound care for minor burns, cuts, blistersCerumen removal, eye wash/foreign body eye carePhlebotomy (primarily done by MA, but may occasionally be needed by provider)Administering nebulizers, reading EKGsWomen s health and preventive care:Pap smears, STD testing, breast examsComplete annual physicals, with referrals as neededEvaluating and managing acute and chronic conditionsEvaluating musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuriesAdministering vaccinations (Tdap, Shingles, travel vaccines) and allergy shots (in coordination with allergists)Patient education on treatment plans and aftercareWe are looking for a dependable, collaborative, and experienced provider who can function independently in a primary care setting.
