Senior Accountant

Our client, a stable and growing manufacturer in a new office in Long Beach, is looking to add a newly created Senior Accountant to the team due to growth! The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager, dotted line to the Controller. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $100,000 per year.Job Description: Reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze, and verify financial data and account reports. Work with external auditors to provide deliverables in a timely manner. Support monthly accounting close functions such as bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and vendor accruals. Assist in the development and implementation of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) procedures and practices. Maintain and record all revenue recognition entries. Support continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Provide overall support for the general accounting needs of the Company.
