Advanced Practice Provider Acute Care SurgeryPiedmont Columbus Regional is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Acute Care Surgery team at our Piedmont Columbus Midtown campus. This is a full- time position, 12 hours a day (7 days on Days/ 7 days Off).In this role you will:Participate in the initial assessment and management of both acutely injured and emergency general surgery patientsPerform bedside procedures in the hospital settingRounding on patients in the hospitalApplies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the ICUContributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organizationHave the possibility of first assist duties in the operating room Piedmont Benefits:Competitive compensation401k with matchEPICQuality, Service and ReputationQualifications - ExternalMasters, Bachelor s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National CertificationEmergency department experience as an RN/NP/PA in a busy trauma center is preferred.
