Position Overview Providers will join a large anesthesia care team practicing under 4:1 supervision with exposure to a full range of cases - including OB, thoracic, vascular, ortho, GI, ENT, and healthy peds. CRNAs perform spinals and epidurals independently and participate in an 8-week rotating schedule that includes optional night or weekend call.Pay Ranking:(Top 10% nationally), this assignment offers one of the most competitive CRNA compensation structures in the Mid-Atlantic region (based solely on 2025 provider pay data). Assignment Highlights Schedule: Full-time 40-60 hrs/week guaranteedShift Types: 8s, 10s, and 12s (primarily days; occasional nights)On-Call: 1 shift per 8-week schedule (night or weekend)Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month (as needed)Holiday: One required holiday per year Paid 1.5x hourlyFloating: As requiredTeam Model: 4:1 supervision with anesthesiologistsTravel: Billable; flights prepaid for full-time clinicians (one round trip per assignment)Orientation: 8 hours (billable at standard rate)Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days Skills & Experience Required Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS (AHA)Licensure: Active Virginia CRNA license required (or in process at time of submission)Experience: Minimum 2 years; must have Level II trauma experienceRequired: OB and ThoracicPreferred: PediatricsMust be proficient in spinal and epidural anesthesiaNo nerve blocks required Job Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services for all cases except transplantsManage OB, thoracic, and vascular cases independentlyPerform and manage epidurals and spinalsParticipate in scheduled call and weekend rotationsCollaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teamsMaintain compliance with departmental policies and documentation standards
