Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Occupational HealthLocation: Charlotte, NCSchedule: Monday-Friday (No weekends) Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage occupational and work-related injuries and illnessesConduct pre-employment physicals, fit-for-duty exams, return-to-work evaluations, and DOT physicals (if certified)Provide employee health education, injury prevention strategies, and wellness supportManage acute and chronic conditions related to occupational exposuresCollaborate with employers, HR teams, and workplace safety personnel to ensure compliance and support health initiativesMaintain accurate and confidential documentation in the EHREnsure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and applicable state/federal occupational health regulationsQualificationsActive and unrestricted North Carolina NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain)Certification as FNP, ANP, or PA-C requiredDOT Medical Examiner certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Minimum of 2 years clinical experience; occupational medicine or urgent care experience preferredCurrent BLS required; ACLS preferredStrong knowledge of occupational health practices, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirementsExcellent diagnostic, communication, and independent clinical decision-making skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer contributions3 weeks PTO, paid holidays, CME allowance, and vacation stipendPaid malpractice coverage, license renewals, and provided lab coat
