Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care Full-Time Edmond OKSalary $135,000 $140,000 per yearAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality urgent care services during evening and weekend shifts. This role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and urgent medical conditions in a fast-paced, supportive environment.You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes and continuity of care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to determine urgent care needsDiagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infectionsPerform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and minor surgical interventionsPrescribe medications and treatments based on evidence-based clinical guidelinesOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, laboratory tests)Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive careMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemCollaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teamsAdhere to clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory standardsProvide patient-centered care with empathy, professionalism, and compassionQualificationsMaster s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, orMaster s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited programActive Oklahoma license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantMinimum 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field preferredSkilled in performing urgent care procedures and managing acute medical conditionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environmentAvailability to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduledCompensation & BenefitsComprehensive Benefits Packageincluding:401(k) with employer matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offRetirement planFlexible scheduling optionsEducationBachelor s degree: PreferredExperience: Minimum 1 year as NP or PA (required)
