NICU Nurse Practitioner

Wonderful opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or an experienced NICU-trained PA to join our expanding team at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, a growing suburb north of Tampa along Florida's Nature Coast. Job Description:NNP Candidates:- Board Certified APRN national specialty certification NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)- Minimum of a Master s Degree- 2+ years of current NNP work experience (not including training or as RN)PA Candidates:- Minimum of a Master's Degree - Board Certified through NCCPA- Completion of a Neonatal PA training program is highly preferred- 2+ years of current PA work experience in NICU (not including training)This 20-bed Level-III unit has an average daily census of 12-20 and approximately1600 annual deliveriesThere is Neonatologist and MFM on-site support, as well as a variety of other sub-specialists16-hour shifts, with possibility of 24-hour shifts as the unit growsLocated on the bay side of Florida, Brooksville is centrally positioned on the Nature Coast with easy access to many crystal clear springs and a short drive south to the growing metro area of Tampa Bay. Not accepting new graduate candidates - CURRENT 2+ years' work experience in NICU (not including RN or training) is required These are permanent positions that may require residency within the immediate local area.
