Union Mechanic

Overview:Full-time union position will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish amusement rides and their subsystems. The individual will ensure all rides and equipment comply with all operating standards and requirements.Responsibilities:Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractionsMaintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractionsVisually inspect machines and equipmentRemove and or replace equipment parts using hand and or power toolsperform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractionsKeep a daily log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenanceAssist with other duties/departments as assignedAdhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as requiredSupport the company Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our GuestsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentPneumatics troubleshooting and repairs working with schematicMechanical repairs following ASTM ride standardsWelding 6G certifiedMachining experience working from drawings using lathe and milling machineMust be able to trouble-shoot safety and emergency equipment, including respirators and safety harnessesMust have hand tools to perform required duties and tasks as assigned
