Position: Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine Location: Washington, D.C. About the Role We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in internal medicine and a genuine interest in developing long-term, trust-based patient relationships. Core Responsibilities In partnership with our internal medicine physician, the Nurse Practitioner will: Deliver comprehensive care through in-depth evaluations (routine, urgent, and follow-up visits) Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and dermatological concerns Manage chronic health issues like hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders Provide both telehealth and in-person consultations Handle lab reviews, prescription management, and patient communications Coordinate care with specialists and assist in navigating referrals Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and basic procedures Educate patients on long-term wellness strategies and lifestyle modifications Participate in occasional home visits or after-hours care (optional and flexible) Qualifications Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington, D.C.
