Location: NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group QueensSchedule: Rotating shifts  (37.5 hrs/week)Department: Pediatrics – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Make a Meaningful Impact in Neonatal CareJoin NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and take on a vital role in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and postpartum well-baby unit. As part of one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems, you’ll collaborate with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to families across the New York metropolitan area.In this role, you’ll assess, plan, and provide care to newborns requiring both intensive and routine monitoring. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team performing rare procedures and contributing to life-changing outcomes for our smallest patients.What You’ll DoProvide direct care to newborns in the Level III NICU and postpartum well-baby unit (Nursery)Monitor and manage neonatal patients with varying acuity levelsCollaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement care plansEducate and support families throughout their NICU and postpartum experienceParticipate in a rotating schedule that includes 12-hour and 24-hour shifts Attend High Risk Deliveries Preferred QualificationsOne year of experience as a NICU Physician AssistantRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant programMinimum of one year of PA experience in Critical CareCurrent New York State PA LicensureNCCPA CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
