This is an exceptional opportunity to work side-by-side with medical oncologists in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings, where your voice is valued and your impact is felt every day. Why This Role Matters As a key member of our oncology care team, you ll be involved in everything from initial patient assessments and therapeutic planning to patient education and clinical research. Your advanced practice skills, clinical judgment, and compassion will be at the heart of how we deliver personalized, evidence-based cancer care to our community. What You ll Do Collaborate closely with our Medical Oncology physicians to manage care for patients during outpatient visits and as needed for inpatient consultsPerform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop patient-specific care plansPrescribe and manage pharmacologic therapies, manage symptoms, and provide anticipatory guidance and education to patients and familiesParticipate in cancer center clinical trials, overseeing research nurses and contributing to ongoing program developmentDeliver clear, compassionate communication with patients and families, while coordinating care with nurses and fellow providersStay current with the latest oncology research and treatment protocols, and participate in performance improvement initiatives that keep Beebe at the forefront of care What We re Looking For Licensed Nurse Practitioner with a Master s Degree in NursingBLS certification requiredAt least 5 years of clinical oncology nursing experience, or a formal oncology preceptorshipStrong critical thinking, diagnostic, and patient management skillsA team-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional, patient-centered careComfort with EHRs and basic computer systemsSomeone who thrives in a collaborative, mission-focused environment The Perks of Working at Beebe A collaborative, tight-knit care team that values your expertise and ideasOpportunities for continued education and leadership in researchCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCoastal living with quick access to beaches, trails, and local charmA strong, stable health system deeply rooted in the communityReady to bring your oncology expertise to a team where your work truly matters?
