End Date: OngoingPosition Details:• Patient Population: Adult patients with ostomy and wound care needs.• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care at Samaritan Hospital• Responsibilities:o Conduct assessments of ostomy patients, evaluate wound status, skin integrity, and overall health.o Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.o Provide patient education on ostomy care techniques and follow-up care.o Utilize advanced wound care techniques and maintain accurate patient records.• Required Procedures: Wound care, ostomy care.• EMR System: Not specified• Support Staff: Work closely with Colorectal and Urology surgeons.• Days Per Month: 20-22 days (based on full-time schedule)• On-Call/Weekends: No weekends or on-call required.Submission Requirements:• Board Certified NP (by time of start) Required• NY License (or willing to obtain) Required• WOCN Certification Required• DEA (or willing to obtain) Required• Experience: At least 1 year of NP, preferably in wound care management with ostomy care Highly PreferredJoin us today!
