Locums - NP/PA Wound Care Opening Batavia, Ohio Key Details Setting: Outpatient Wound Care Clinic Reason for Need: Physician gap between permanent hires Coverage Dates: Dec 22, 2025 - Mar 31, 2026 Schedule: Mon-Fri, Flexible - open to candidates available Mon/Thu/Fri only Patient Volume: 15-30 per day EMR: Epic Licenses & Certifications Active Ohio (OH) License - REQUIRED BLS - REQUIRED ACLS - Preferred (for Hyperbaric Oxygen oversight/HBO) Clinical Responsibilities Managing a wide variety of wounds: Skin reactions , vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers Acute, surgical, traumatic, burns, non-healing surgical wounds Chronic venous insufficiency, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injury Wound care procedures , including: Debridement Topical therapy application Negative pressure wound therapy Incision & drainage Skin grafting Bioengineered skin Unna boot Total contact casting Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment supervision (HBO) Duties Include Comprehensive wound assessment and management Preventative care and education for patients & caregivers Dressing application and instruction Management of draining wounds and fistulae Implementing ulcer-prevention measures Referral Program Know someone who may be a fit?
