No callWork Details:• Support Staff: APPS work our surgeons, fellows, and residents.• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: looking for 2 full time NPs for 6 months• Patients per day: NP:Pt Ratio 8-9 max 10• Patient Population/Age: Adult Cardiac Surgery Step Down Unit• Department Description: Patients on this unit are typically post cardiac surgery patients: CABG, AVR, MVR, Heart Transplant, LVAD are examples of surgical procedures• EMR: Epic• Hospital Bed size: 1200. 39 beds on the post-operative unit where provider will be working• Skills Required: Cardiac Surgery NP experiencePractice Setting:• Academic Training/ HospitalRequirements:• Board Certification: ANCC Adult or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or AANP Adult NP• License Required: Active MO license. Prefer local candidates. • Certifications Preferred: Adult or Acute Care• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLSCredentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
