NP/PA for Emergency MedicineBanner - University Medicine is actively interviewing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants that thrive as flexible team players in a fast-paced, patient focused environment to join the dynamic Emergency Department care team at Banner - University Medical Center's Tucson and South Campuses. As the premier Level 1 Trauma Center in the Southern Arizona region, our highly motivated Emergency Department Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) treat a full range of acuity with attention to treat and release patients across the lifespan while sharing time between the fast track and the main emergency department. Our ED APPs manage the emergency care of our patients across the spectrum of presenting complaints, order diagnostic labs and imaging, diagnose and treat disease, manage and prescribe medications, and perform a wide range of urgent/emergent procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to practice independently and involve the attending physician when necessary. Over the years, we have forged a strong partnership and high-level of trust with our physician colleagues.
