Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient care team. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with exposure to a wide range of surgical and gastroenterology cases, while maintaining work-life balance with a days-only schedule. Position Details Employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical GroupSchedule: Days only no nights requiredSetting: Inpatient, with collaboration across surgery and gastroenterologySupport General Surgery while also assisting with Gastroenterology services, providing comprehensive care to patients Collaborate on gastroenterology consults and proceduresTeam Environment: Work closely with surgeons, gastroenterologists, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomesPerform patient evaluations, daily rounding, and treatment planningSupport pre- and post-operative care managementProvide patient and family educationAssist with care coordination, discharge planning, and follow-upQualificationsLicensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in IllinoisNational certification in good standingPrior experience in surgery, gastroenterology, or inpatient care preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement planPaid time off and CME allowanceMalpractice insurancePrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
