Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Location: A town in upstate New York known for its historic significance, scenic landscapes, and proximity to natural hot springs. Facility: Hospital serving the local community and surrounding areas, providing a wide range of medical services. Opportunity: Seeking an additional locum Emergency Medicine APP to join their team Overseeing the Observation unit which consists of 2-3 patients- Will accept new grads Position available immediately with coverage required as soon as possible. 12-hour shifts- day and night shifts- provider must be flexible This facility does not include a fast-track area in the emergency department. Current documentation system: EPIC Census - 26 patients per day, 9500 per year Shift hours - either 7a-7p or 7p-7a Is it a single physician coverage? Single provider When not rounding in the Obs unit, the APP will be assisting in the ER as extra hand under the supervision of the ED physician Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
