Diesel Mechanic Technician

-Maintain and repair semi-trucks and trailers to keep our fleet running smoothly - Use advanced tools and techniques to diagnose and fix issues - Performing PMI inspections, welding, some field repairs and related work REQUIRED SKILLS: - Basic mechanic knowledge and hands-on repair experience - Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills - Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces, fertilizer and some grain dust - Willingness to learn Preferred (but not required): - Technical certifications or degree in mechanics - 2+ years of experience with diesel engines, truck repair, and agriculture equipment - Welding and fabrication skills - CDL or prior trucking experience - Familiarity with shop tools -Your own set of tools Average schedule is 8 am - 5 pm, M -F (possibly later during busy seasons) Some weekend and after-hour service calls (mostly seasonal) Pay based on experience and skill set Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person by Jobble
