Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob Summary: We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse or logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to move materials around the warehouse or storage yardLoad and unload goods from trucks and other vehiclesStack and organize products in the correct storage locationsPerform routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issuesEnsure loads are secure and comply with safety standardsKeep accurate records of inventory and shipmentsAssist with general warehouse duties as needed (picking, packing, etc.)Follow all safety guidelines and company proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredValid forklift certification and experience operating sit-down, stand-up, or reach forkliftsGood physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbsBasic math and inventory skillsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if requiredWork Environment: Forklift Operators typically work in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, or outdoor loading areas. The role may involve exposure to varying temperatures and long periods of standing or operating machinery.
