The facility includes a NICU with neonatology backup and offers services for healthy newborns and pediatric emergency cases.Opportunity:Pediatric Hospitalist (or APP)Job Details:• Coverage needed for specific dates in November, including 11/27 (Thanksgiving Day 5p-5p), with ongoing needs• Current locum provider averages 8 shifts per month• Primary responsibilities include healthy newborn coverage• Attend deliveries and provide in-house coverage of NICU patients at night with neonatology backup• Handle occasional minor Pediatric ER consults• Admit patients to the NICU overnight (with certain limitations)• Must be certified in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation)• No required procedures• 24-hour shifts• Connecticut license required• Must have clean background for emergency privileges• Must be available to work the 11/27 dateCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
