In this rewarding role, you will:Represent Johnson Controls with expertise in Fire Safety and Fire Alarm SystemsDrive sales to general and electrical contractors and end users within an assigned territoryFocus on complex fire alarm projects/COMMERCIALBuild strong relationships and deliver solutions that protect lives and propertyHow You Will Do ItEstablish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers through calls, leads, and Johnson Controls marketing strategiesDevelop and execute a sales strategy to showcase our product offerings and prioritize opportunitiesConduct seminars, demos, and presentations to generate and qualify leadsPrepare proposals, deliver financial justifications, and close sales successfullyCollaborate with district operations to ensure exceptional service deliveryMaintain accounts through regular follow-up and customer engagementReport progress and metrics weekly and monthlyParticipate in trade shows and special events to grow sales and enhance Johnson Controls’ brandWhat We Look ForRequired Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of sales experience in complex Fire Alarm Systems with a proven track recordExperience selling Fire Alarm-specific projectsAt least 3 years in construction salesHighly motivated, success-driven, and self-disciplinedStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to identify, qualify, and close opportunitiesAbility to acquire licenses required by national, state, and local codesPreferred Qualifications:Simplex Systems experienceBachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering OR equivalent work experienceExperience working with contractors and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagramsProficiency in Microsoft and Oracle programs#SalesHiring #FireAlarmCareers #JoinJCISalary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65k-104k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
