Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - San Diego, CA Job Type: Full-TimeShifts: Days (Mon-Fri)Job Description:We are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our medical team in San Diego, CA, who can work in an Outpatient clinic.Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations.Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing evidence-based interventions and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.Provide ongoing patient education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.Medical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members, such as clinical staff and other patient care team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.Qualification/Experience:Master's degree or Doctorate Degree in Nursing as a Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerExperience in psychiatry hospital or a clinic requiredMin 2-3 years of experience working in Psychiatric settingLicenses/Certifications:Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of CaliforniaActive DEA LicenseBenefits:Health/Dental/Vision insurance coverage for you and your family401(k) retirement planEmployee share programFlex spending accountsTuition reimbursement
