Job descriptionThe AWS Solutions Architect directly supports the success of our Sales team through ourPartnership program, leading technical presales engagements with a focus on ApplicationModernization, Cloud-Native Development, and Generative AI. This role involves designingAWS-powered solutions for new and existing customer engagements, collaborating closely with Sales and AWS stakeholders to drive professional services growth and AWS consumption.Key ResponsibilitiesAWS GTM & Sales Enablement● Supporting Sales with Technical Expertise to drive AWS Pipeline and Achieve RevenueTargets.● Architecture and design of holistic AWS solutions with alignment to business outcomes.Specify the deliverables of services and implementation projects by writing the statementsof work (SOW).● Enable sales teams to drive AWS adoption, aligning with AWS co-selling initiatives, PartnerFunding Programs, and opportunity generation.● Collaborate with AWS stakeholders to optimize funding strategies for projects.● Own content and lead technical client workshops focused on modern cloud architecturesand AI adoption.● Maintenance of a clean, accurate and sufficient pipeline in the CRM system● Collaborate with the service delivery teams to ensure the services are delivered as specifiedin your Statements of Work and as required to meet customer business outcomeobjectives.Technical Leadership & Mentorship● Guide engineers and architects on best practices for cloud-native development, AI modeldeployment, and infrastructure modernization.● Provide strategic direction for AWS-based application development, ensuring alignment withcustomer business objectives.● Define success metrics for AWS implementations, optimizing cost-efficiency, security, andscalability.Technical Expertise● Application Modernization & Cloud-Native Development○ Architect serverless and microservices-based solutions using AWS Lambda, AmazonECS/EKS, and API Gateway.○ Lead monolithic-to-microservices refactoring and cloud migration strategies.○ Design scalable, resilient architectures utilizing AWS Well-Architected Frameworkand AI-enhanced modernization workflows.● Generative AI & Machine Learning Solutions○ Architect cloud-native AI-powered applications utilizing AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, AIinference optimization, and vector databases.○ Build LLM-powered workflows leveraging retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) andfine-tuned AI models.○ Automate business processes with AI-driven solutions for data extraction, customerinteraction, and operational efficiency.● Transitional AWS Services & Migration Strategies● Define hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies using AWS Control Tower, AWSLanding Zone, and VPC networking.● Lead legacy-to-cloud transitions, utilizing AWS Migration Hub, AWS DatabaseMigration Service (DMS), and AWS App2Container.● Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth integrations withAWS infrastructure.
