American Polymer Company specializes in the manufacturing of precast underground vaults.APC operator is responsible for the safe and efficient production of quality parts. Other duties include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and participation in various improvement projects.   Overall Responsibilities:Follow production schedule for manufacturing of specific itemsEliminate waste by following procedures and best practicesMonitor equipment and molds to ensure that they are in good working orderPerform manual repairs when necessaryAssist in manufacturing related special projects when applicable Skills:Proven experience as operatorBasic understanding of manufacturing processWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
