Tax Senior Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Manager or Director to review approximately 100 individual tax returns. Must have at least 25 years experience in the review of individual tax returns. This is from February 15 - April 15.ResponsibilitiesInteract with preparers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns.Review individual tax returns for completeness.Correspond with clients regarding open items and tax municate with managing partner on progress of tax return completion and delivery.Research technical tax issues that you may encounter.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or EA are required.Detail oriented.Extensive tax experience with a familiarity of state and pass through entity tax issues.Strong understanding of partnership and S-Corporation basis issues.Extensive experience with passive activity loss rules.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues.Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams of tax professionals or accountants to ensure work is flowing to ensure a smooth tax season and delivery of timely returns.Experience with Ultrax Tax and Tax Dome is strong preferred but not required.Job Type: SeasonalPay: $ $55.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 - 30 per weekApplication Question(s):Are you a CPA or Enrolled Agent?Work Location: Remote
