The technical center is responsible for design, development and testing of new products and is the customer liaison throughout the new product creation 2022, Weastec reopened the Greenfield operations facility and began the introduction of automated assembly lines. This location also serves as additional warehouse space for the Hillsboro headquarters.Job SummaryThe Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet the company's standards of quality. That includes monitoring the production process, testing the products, and identifying any defects or issues that may arise. They will use a variety of tools and equipment to perform tests accurately, read and interpret technical data, document their findings, and suggest possible solutions to improve the quality of the products to the suppliers and management.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks and inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet requiredstandards and specifications. Conduct quality audits of the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensurecompliance with regulations and standards. Collaborate with production team to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Provide training and guidance to production team on quality control procedures and practices.Utilizes measuring and testing equipment to perform inspections such as calipers, micrometers, andgauges.
