As we expand across multiple states, we are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands restaurant operations, and brings the professionalism and structure we need as we scale. Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly organized, people-centered, and proactive Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to manage HR functions across our restaurant group. This role is remote, but may require occasional on-site visits for training or support. You will play a key part in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and helping create a positive culture within the Food Geeks team. This role is perfect for someone who loves structure, communicates well, and enjoys building systems that support growing companies. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Staffing Post job listings across major platforms Screen applicants and schedule interviewsSupport managers with hiring needs for multiple locations Onboarding & HR Administration Handle digital onboarding documents (I-9, W-4, direct deposit, etc.) Ensure smooth orientation for all new employeesMaintain employee records in HRIS systems Employee Relations Serve as a friendly and professional HR point of contact Support conflict resolution and coach managers on HR best practicesMaintain confidentiality and professionalism Compliance & Policies Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws (multi-state) Support restaurant teams with policy interpretationHelp update and distribute employee handbooks Culture & Engagement Assist with performance reviews and staff appreciation initiatives Support internal communication and culture-building activities QualificationsRequired 1-3 years of HR experience (restaurant experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of HR compliance, onboarding, and recruitingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and meet deadlines Preferred Experience with restaurant scheduling/payroll platforms (e.g., Homebase, Toast, ADP) Multi-location HR experienceStrong organizational and problem-solving skills CompensationHourly Rate:$23-$25/hour (based on experience) Hours:15-25 per weekFlexible schedulingOpportunity to grow into a full-time HR Manager as the restaurant group expands Why Join Food Geeks Eatery?Work with a rapidly expanding restaurant brand Flexible remote scheduleGrowth opportunities as we scaleA supportive leadership team that values creativity, structure, and excellence- A culture rooted in purpose, people, and innovationThis is a remote position.
