Shipping and Receiving Operator

We are seeking Shipping and Receiving Operator. This job requires previous warehouse experience, very good forklift experience and some computer skills.Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during the course of the workday:Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers, as well as collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage.Checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items received with purchase order.Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.Safely operate a forklift after we provide you training, and you obtain certification.Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.Prepare and ensure all shipments are labeled correctly.Receive and distribute product.General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.)Participates in physical inventories of warehouse and/or supply yard; maintains inventory records by adding or deleting supplies as they are shipped or received.Operates a personal computer to access, enter, and correct information.Work according to FIFO (First In-First out) Methods.Read work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.Requirements:Capable to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift; handle and store hazardous materials; clean and maintain a safe working environment.Able to work safely in a production environment.Demonstrated attention to details.Able to operate forklift.Basic to Intermediate Computer skills.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceWork Location: In person
