This role combines strategic architectural planning with hands-on development expertise to deliver innovative solutions for our government clients.The Salesforce Architect/Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions while providing technical leadership to development teams.Key responsibilities include: Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standardsLead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teamsDevelop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologiesCreate and maintain technical documentation including solution design documentsEstablish best practices for development, security, and performance optimizationMentor junior developers and provide technical oversight of deliverablesEvaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementationCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutionsManage integration architecture with external systems and third-party applicationsEducation and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field8+ years of Salesforce development experience5+ years of experience in architectural rolesSalesforce Platform Developer II certificationSalesforce Application Architect or System Architect certificationRequired Skills and Competencies: Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitationsAdvanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce developmentStrong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architectureExperience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practicesProven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementationsStrong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutionsExperience with data migration and ETL toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesExperience with Agile development methodologiesAbility to obtain public trust clearanceDesired Skills and Competencies: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certificationExperience with government IT projectsKnowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirementsExperience with MuleSoft or other integration platformsAdditional certifications in Salesforce specialty cloudsExperience with AI/ML implementation in SalesforceExperience with GearSetExperience with GitHubKnowledge of DevSecOps practicesExperience with change management in enterprise environmentsSecurity Requirement: Ability to obtain public trustOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
