Aluminum - MIG WeldersAnchor Fabrication$21 - $24 DOEAnchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company located in Smithville, TN, is seeking MIG and TIG welders to join our team in our Smithville, TN location. Full benefits package Come join our teamEssential Functions:Ability to properly operate welding equipment such as filler rods, valves, gas cylinders and MIG & TIG equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprint drawings, sheet metal drawings, customer drawings, diagrams, welds symbols and other instructional materials proficientlyAbility to interpret tolerances on customer drawings and weld parts within tolerancesAbility to use Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and/or Metal Inert Gas (MIG) to weld aluminum sheet metal from 1/8" thru 1/4" plate and extrusionMust be able to weld steelAbility to lay a cosmetic weld with good fusion, penetration and strength integrity that meets applicable codesAbility to build fixtures that assist in welding part(s) to conform to required positionWork efficiently and independently while also demonstrating a willingness to work within a team environmentWork with quality control inspectors to meet or exceed the needs of the customerMeet pre-determined per piece weld timesWillingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned positionMust be familiar with hand tools such as; die grinders, grinders, sanders, drills, and other hand tools related to the job's needsMust be able to meet critical shipping due datesWork overtime as requiredQualifications:Mechanically adeptAttention to detailStrong understanding of welding techniques, concepts, practices and proceduresPositive, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment to reach a common goalAbility to prioritize and work under schedule demandsComputer literateAbility to read all necessary measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret specificationsMechanically adeptAttention to detailStrong understanding of welding techniques, concepts, practices and proceduresPositive, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment to reach a common goalAbility to prioritize and work under schedule demandsComputer literateAbility to read all necessary measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret specifications2.
