OverviewWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor specializing in Reality TV production to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-production, video editing, and content creation, with proficiency in industry-standard software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling visual stories for reality television, working closely with producers and directors to bring concepts to life through dynamic editing and motion graphics.Before applying, please:Watch the pilot episode in full Confirm whether you can meet the editing demands of this styleShare brief feedback on:Pacing and flowStorytellingAnything you would improve or adjustApplications without pilot feedback will not be considered.DutiesEdit raw footage into engaging and polished episodes using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or corporate motion graphics, visual effects, and typography using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Maya to enhance storytelling.Manage and organize media assets efficiently within content management systems and FTP servers.Perform photo editing, photo manipulation, and color correction using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge.Create compelling content through videography, filming, and editing for various segments of the show.Collaborate with producers and directors to understand creative vision and deliver timely edits that meet project deadlines.Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the post-production process.Assist in the development of graphic design elements and 2D/3D animations to support storytelling.QualificationsProven experience in video editing for reality TV or similar entertainment formats.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Maya, Cinema 4D, and other relevant software.Strong skills in post-production techniques including video editing, motion graphics, typography, color grading, and photo editing.Knowledge of photography principles and videography techniques.Familiarity with content management systems and FTP workflows for media transfer and storage.Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.Nice-to-have skills include experience with 3D animation (Maya), 2D animation, content creation tools, and experience working on high-volume content projects.
