As a key member of our kitchen, you will craft beautiful, delicious baked goods and desserts while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role is mostly wholesale and we serve many large accounts so attention to detail is necessary and a vested interest in allergen friendly baking is a plus but not necessary. There is opportunity for growth for the right baker as we are looking actively for a partner to join Peace of Mind Baking Co. which has been in business 20 yrs and is still growingResponsibilitiesPrepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flairExecute cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning confections that delight customersManage food production and preparation processes efficiently to meet daily demandPackage baked goods attractively for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulationsHandle food ingredients responsibly, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotationCollaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and fulfill special orders or catering requestsRequirementsProven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and dessertsSkilled in cake decorating, food preparation, and food handling techniquesKnowledge of baking principles, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment operationFamiliarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial settingAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailExcellent knife skills, food industry knowledge, and experience in food production or catering preferredPrevious restaurant or bakery experience is highly advantageous; strong customer service skills are essentialJoin us to turn your passion for baking into an exciting career where your creativity flourishes We value energetic team players who thrive on delivering top-quality pastries and memorable experiences.
