Shipping & Receiving - 3rd Shift

Responsible for loading and unloading product for customers and vendors. Utilize the Sap computer system to prepare and ship product and receive product.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate forklift, read and follow directions, and respond quickly in a fast-paced production environment.Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance and safety standards.Use Epic Scanner for material movement in SAP and receiving of materials.Transport materials and baskets to and from work cells as needed to maintain continuous production.Basic computer transactions in SAP.Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions.Overtime as required/requested.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Load and unload trucks, dump scrap, move machinery, etc. as requested.Perform safety checks and basic preventative maintenance daily on the forklifts.Follow safety regulations at all times.Ability to read, write and understand directions, shipping and receiving paperwork and complete lot forms, tags, etc.This list may not be all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned by the supervisor.CRITICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess a high school diploma or GEDMust demonstrate mechanical aptitudeMust be able to acquire forklift license in timely manner which includes a medical certification by a Tenneco provided medical professional Knowledge of safety regulationsAbility to read an follow written and verbal directions and chartsFlexibility and ability to respond quickly to numerous requests and paging announcementsAlertness and awareness of surrounding activities in all directionsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Warehouse, Dock and Plant areasLow lighting in certain areasVarying temperatures (hot and cold)Some exposure to outside weather conditionsFast-paced work environmentHigh noise levels in some areasSome constricted worked areas and pathwaysPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Extensive sitting with some pushing and pullingGood visual abilityGood head, hand and foot motionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Fast-pacedYou are encouraged to 'Own Your Career' to maximize your development and reach your full potential
