This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has deep experience building high-quality media lists, loves pitching, and brings a proactive, "jump-in-and-own-it" mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Support & AdministrationPrepare polished weekly call agendas for multiple accounts and manage all call invites.Book conference rooms and coordinate logistics for client meetings and interviews.Take clear, actionable notes during client calls, flagging priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups.Maintain accurate and organized client folders, coverage grids, activity trackers, and reporting documents with consistent version control.Support client reporting by compiling coverage summaries, analytics, and performance highlights.Media RelationsResearch, build, and update robust media lists tailored to client industries, storytelling angles, and target audiences.Pitch trade, consumer, tech, and business media with strategic, compelling angles.Monitor editorial coverage in real time using tools such as Google Alerts, Muck Rack, and TVEyes.Develop and flag timely editorial calendar opportunities, ensuring context and background information is clearly articulated.Identify HARO and Qwoted opportunities, providing relevant background and crafting thoughtful, compelling submissions.Clip earned media coverage and maintain client clip books.Research, Programs & Opportunity DevelopmentSupport award and speaking programs by researching opportunities, managing deadlines, and preparing submissions.Demonstrate ability to research and develop conferences, seminars, and speaker placements that align with client strategies.Conduct general industry, competitive, and trend research to support client and internal needs.Tools & Systems MasteryDemonstrate proficiency with internal research and monitoring tools (e.g., Muck Rack, TVEyes).Manage and update client monitoring terms and ensure alerts are functioning properly.Professionalism & Team ContributionConsistently meet deadlines and deliver work that requires minimal edits.Show initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.Build strong relationships internally and externally through effective communication"”both written and verbal.Serve as a collaborative team player, contributing positively to our culture and supporting team success.What we look for:Demonstrate passion for all aspects of the Agency's business1 - 2 years of experience within PR, account management, BRB or combination of all threeShow a willingness to take on new challengesBe a natural and effective team playerComplete assignments on or ahead of scheduleDemonstrate reliability, dependability and accountabilityBe punctual and meet work attendance and deadline requirementsExhibit effective interpersonal interactions as well as communication both verbally and in writingPerks:Competitive compensation (DOE)Great healthcare/benefits, including 100% covered medical and dental plansGenerous paid vacation and sick daysPaid time off each quarter to volunteer with teammatesContinued education and career developmentIf interested apply here: VenturePR is an equal opportunity employerJob Type: Full-timePay: $40, $42,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programVision insuranceApplication Question(s):Are you located on the West Coast?Have you worked with any PR tools such as cision, muckrack or meltwater?Are you able and willing to attend occasionally client calls in the evening for clients in different timezones?Experience:Public relations or Journalism: 1 year (Required)Work Location: Remote
