JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: CRNA (AP) Cardiac • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Florence, SC • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible scheduling; 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on facility needs • On-Call Shift Schedule: Cardiac call required; minimal call volume • Call Type: In-House • Call Ratio: TBD • Call Response Time: TBD COVERAGE DATES • Ongoing beginning ASAP • Scheduling may allow 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotationPATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included as applicable • Phone Consults: Limited • Case Mix: Adult cardiac, major vascular, thoracic anesthesia with occasional general and ASC casesFACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: No Trauma designation • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia and cardiac OR equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Full cardiac and surgical services • Support Staff Available: Anesthesia care team and surgical support staffPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days • Orientation: Hospital modules and Epic personalization requiredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Lodging: Travel Lodging and Malpractice CoveredREQUIRED PROCEDURES • Adult cardiac anesthesia • Open heart cases • Major vascular anesthesia • Thoracic anesthesia • General anesthesia as needed • ASC anesthesia coverage as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active South Carolina license • Board: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist • DEA: Yes • Experience: Cardiac anesthesia experience required; must be comfortable with open heart cases • Other Qualifications: Flexibility to cross-credential at Columbia campus; willingness to take cardiac callDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia care for adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures • Participate in cardiac call coverage with minimal call volume • Assist with general anesthesia cases as needed • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance within Epic • Adapt schedule flexibility to meet evolving facility needs
