Groomer Operator/ Snowcat Operator

Pleasant Mountain is looking for experienced and inexperienced snowcat operators to groom ski runs over 239 skiable acres for the 2023/2024 ski season. You'll use grooming equipment to create smooth and safe skiing surfaces for all guests, making sure they have an unforgettable experience. If you have experience in grooming and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you Responsibilities:Operate grooming equipment per company policy & procedures; adhere to safety standards, and output high-quality snow surfaces to ensure an exceptional guest experienceKeep records of operations, including equipment breakdowns and accidentsLearn how to operate all slope-grooming equipmentSafely operate a turbo-charged diesel powered over the snow vehicle with hydrostatic drives, 12-way blade, and multi-function rototiller rear implementOperate all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls, and steeringMinimize downtime through basic preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machinesCommunicate as needed with shop mechanics concerning mechanical problems
