Our Administrative Assistants are forward-facing in their communication and in their representation of the University's core mission, vision, and culture . Our ideal candidate will serve as Administrative Assistant to Department Chair and provide support to faculty, students and other university staff.Required QualificationsDemonstrated working knowledge of general office policies, practices, and equipment. Experience providing administrative and/or programmatic support. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organization skills. Experience handling sensitive material and confidential information; experience setting priorities and managing multiple tasks. Considerable working knowledge of various computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet. Experience providing budgetary support.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of State and University policies and procedures. Experience working with Banner, eVA, Cognos and Chrome River. Experience working with a position management/applicant tracking system such as People Admin.
