We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee our operations in the Southeastern United States.Position OverviewThe Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the direct sales of Kellenberger's portfolio of precision grinding and turning equipment within the assigned territory. This role is pivotal to our continued growth and success in the region. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers while working closely with and developing a robust third-party agent network. The position requires a deep understanding of the machine tool industry and a proven track record of sales performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Sales: Lead and drive sales for Kellenberger's precision grinding and turning equipment across the Southeastern United States, including both new business development and existing customer account management.Third-Party Agent Network: Develop and manage a strong network of third-party agents to support regional sales growth. Work collaboratively with agents to expand market share and improve sales processes.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions that align with Kellenberger's capabilities.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the region. Identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to effectively position Kellenberger's products.Territory Growth: Expand Kellenberger's footprint in the region through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging industry contacts to generate new leads and sales opportunities.Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly report sales activities, market conditions, and sales forecasts to the Chief Sales Officer. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM system for tracking customer interactions, sales pipeline, and performance metrics.Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team, including technical support and marketing, to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the assigned territory to meet with clients, prospects, and agents.Required QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in the machine tool industry, with a deep understanding of precision grinding and turning equipment.Proven sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Demonstrated success in managing and developing relationships with third-party agents and distributors.Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels within customer organizations.Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess market opportunities and customer needs.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.Experience working in the Southeastern United States.Technical background or understanding of Kellenberger's product pensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $140,000 annuallyCommission: Competitive performance-based structureCar Allowance: ProvidedBenefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, indemnity coverage, STD and LTD, life insurance, 11 paid company holidays401(k): Company-matched retirement plan, company matches 100% up to 5%Kellenberger offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
