This role involves delivering primary medical care to adult patients while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner will report to the Medical Director or a designated physician and oversee the Nurse Care Coordinator. Job Description: Compensation : $150000 - $165000 Job ID : 42130 Job Function: Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for adult patients. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the primary care setting. Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Buprenorphine therapy. Assess patient conditions, set treatment goals, and prescribe appropriate interventions. Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR). Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making. Coordinate medical consultations and patient transfers as necessary. Job Requirements: New York State licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience in Primary Care, HIV/AIDS management, harm reduction, and Buprenorphine treatment. Certification in Nursing practice or expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine. Preferred experience with electronic health records. Visual and auditory acuity for medical procedures and patient interaction. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance. Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and Infection Control certification. Maintenance of required CMEs/CEUs. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
