Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care)Full-Time Syracuse, NY Area (Liverpool, Cicero, or Camillus)Shift Scheduling: 12-hour shifts Shift times range between 7:00 AM 11:30 PMRotating Weekend availability requiredResponsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in a high-volume urgent care setting• Perform urgent care procedures including suturing, incision & drainage, splinting/immobilization, and foreign body removal• Manage acute medical conditions such as respiratory emergencies, allergic reactions, and anaphylaxis• Interpret EKGs and X-rays to support timely clinical decision-making• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in the EHRQualifications• Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)• Active, unrestricted New York NP license• DEA license and NPI number required• Minimum 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, critical care, or other high-acuity experience• Strong procedural skills (suturing and I&D required)Compensation & Benefits• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• 401(k) with employer match• Generous PTO and paid sick time• CME reimbursement and paid CME time• Dictation software provided• Free or discounted wellness services
