Job Title:Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Anesthesia Ionia, MI Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CRNA to provide independent anesthesia services at UMH Ionia. This role involves delivering safe and effective anesthesia care for general surgical and endoscopy procedures within a supportive hospital environment. Candidates will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist and no on-call responsibilities. Required Skills: Current, valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in MichiganExtensive knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols for adult and pediatric patientsDemonstrated ability to independently administer anesthesia with remote anesthesiologist oversightProficiency in general surgical anesthesia, nerve blocks, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, and ventilation managementStrong documentation skills using EPIC EMR systemExcellent critical thinking, communication, and patient management skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentNice to Have Skills: Experience in trauma Level 4 facility settingsPrevious work in operating rooms and endoscopy suitesfamiliarity with pediatric anesthesia proceduresAdditional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALSPreferred Education and Experience: Master s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related fieldMinimum of 2 years of recent anesthesia practice experience, preferably in hospital settingsPrior locum or coverage experience is a plusOther Requirements: Credentialing completion within approximately 60 daysReliable travel arrangements; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rateAvailability to start on or before 01/03/2026Orientation fee is half the hourly rate; holiday pay at 1.5X the hourly rateWork in a thriving hospital environment that supports your professional growth and success.
