Job DescriptionRCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer - Technical Lead position. This is a full-time direct-hire Remote assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Project Engineer - Technical LeadThe Senior Project Engineer - Technical Lead will lead and guide the entire project/program team, conducting final reviews and developing advanced technical comprehension. This role involves leading client calls and meetings independently and understanding niche or unique concepts and calculations. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in natural gas systems who can provide technical leadership while mentoring and developing junior engineers.As a Senior Project Engineer - Technical Lead YOU will:· Team Lead; direct and guide an entire Project/Program Team · Apply expert knowledge of codes, standards, and client expectations · Lead design challenge and conflict resolution · Conduct final reviews, at times acting as final reviewer · Independently lead client calls and meetings · Actively develop and coach other team members · Provide workflow direction and estimate allowable hours · Approve scope, assess risk and provide proactive solutions · Track performance metrics/KPIs of Project Team · Design metering and regulating stations for natural gas projects · Generate P&IDs loaded with transmitters and instrumentation · Size heaters and equipment for natural gas applications · Provide technical guidance on high-pressure natural gas systemsYOU are the ideal Senior Project Engineer - Technical Lead candidate if you have:· 8-10 years of experience designing metering and regulating stations · Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field from an ABET accredited university· PE licensure or ability to obtain · Work experience in the Natural Gas Industry · Experience sizing heaters for natural gas applications · Ability to generate P&IDs loaded with transmitters and control instrumentation · Understanding of high-pressure natural gas systems and OPP valves · Leadership mentality with ability to help and coach younger engineers · Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting · Advanced technical comprehension and excellent communication skills · Strong work ethic with ability to forecast design challenges · Experience working remotely preferredIt's a BONUS if you have:· Familiarity with MS Office Suite · Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams · Previous experience as a technical lead on complex projectsAbout Our CLIENT Woman owned engineering design firm in the natural gas space.
