Job SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Auto Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto parts knowledge combined with excellent communication skills and organizational abilities. This role involves assisting technicians with their estimates by sourcing parts quickly, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. The Auto Parts Specialist will play a key role in ensuring parts are quoted and estimated accurately to keep workflow moving and help the shop operate efficiently.ResponsibilitiesAssist technicians in selecting the correct auto parts based on the vehicle and repair requirementsIdentify parts needed for repairs or maintenanceManage inventory control, including stocking, order fulfillment, and transactionsMaintain accurate records for inventory management and sales trackingProvide vehicle maintenance advice and support automotive service departments as neededEnsure a clean and organized work environment, including stocking shelves and maintaining displaysCommunicate effectively with team members and vendors via phone etiquette and in-person interactionsExperiencePrevious experience preferably within automotive repair or parts storeKnowledge of automotive parts, diagnostics, repair, and/or service proceduresExperience with inventory management systemsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyBilingual abilities are a plusFamiliarity with auto parts, automotive shop operations, automotive maintenance, and marketing strategies is a plusExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with skills for retail math and inventory controlThis position offers an engaging work environment where technical knowledge meets exceptional customer service.
