Full-Stack Engineer (Mid-Level | Part-Time, 1099) Fully RemoteOverviewSt. Moritz Enterprises is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications for Federal Government customers. This role works across the entire application stack, including front-end user interfaces, back-end services, and data layers, to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.This is a part-time, 1099 contract role, ideal for an engineer who can own features end-to-end while collaborating with system architects, designers, and project teams in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Application EngineeringDesign, build, and maintain web applications across the full stack.Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).Build and maintain server-side services and APIs using technologies such as or Python.Implement and manage database interactions using relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and data layers.System Integration & Engineering SupportCollaborate with system architects to implement solutions aligned with approved system tegrate applications with external APIs, enterprise platforms, and cloud services.Follow established engineering standards to support scalability, security, and maintainability.Support hybrid environments that may include COTS or low/no-code platforms.Testing, Deployment & MaintenanceWrite and maintain unit and integration tests across the stack.Support deployments using CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across front-end and back-end components.Participate in application enhancements and ongoing maintenance.Security, Compliance & DocumentationApply secure coding practices appropriate for Federal Government systems.Support compliance with applicable security, privacy, and accessibility requirements.Maintain clear technical documentation related to application functionality and design.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).4-7 years of experience in full-stack or software engineering roles.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and at least one back-end language (e.g., , Python).Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and responsive design principles.Ability to work independently in a part-time, 1099 engagement.U.S. citizenship and ability to support federal customers.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal, government, or regulated environments.Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in Agile development environments.Prior consulting or 1099 contract experience.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $ $70.00 per hourExperience:Full stack or Software engineering: 4 years (Required)Work Location: Remote
