This role is essential to maintaining secure, efficient, and accurate monetary transactions within the casino environment. High school diploma or equivalent.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to accurately process data using a computerProficient 10-key touchLANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals to process and reconcile customer transactions.Reports to Cage Supervisor. The cage cashier handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for casino tokens, performing credit checks, and cashing checks. Cage cashiers provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all Cage patrons.
